Deploy from GitHub
GitHub App connection, branch, directory, auto-deploy and build detection.
Connect GitHub
In the GitHub wizard, install the Kapapra GitHub App on your account or organization and choose the repositories it can access. Private repositories are supported.
Service options
- Branch: the deployed branch.
- Root directory: the app folder in a monorepo (e.g.
apps/api); empty = repository root. - Variables: paste a
.envfile; they are saved before the first build. - Auto-deploy: redeploy on every push to the branch. When off, you deploy from the console.
- Port: the port your app listens on; Kapapra also injects the
PORTvariable. - Build / start command: optional, detected otherwise.
Watch paths (Settings → Build) limit auto-deploy to pushes that change some paths.
How the build is chosen
If the repository (or root directory) has a Dockerfile, Kapapra uses it. Otherwise Railpack detects the language (Node.js, Python, PHP, Go, Ruby…) and builds the image. The optional kapapra.toml file tunes the build and start (see kapapra.toml).
Build and runtime logs stream live in the service tabs.
